The Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon.
Aminu Tambowal has commissioned several roads built by Governor Okezie
Ikpeazu in Aba environs: including Ehere, Umuocham-Umule-Umuehilegbu and
Umuojima (now, Dr.Chima Nwafor Road).
Speaking at different
points of commissioning, the State Governor, Dr Ikpeazu said the roads
will enhance live and improve economy of the people of the State,
stating that he is not detered with the dwindling economy of the nation
but believed in God's provisions.
He said the roads had defied all solutions for the past 16 years and
assured durability of the roads, disclosing that he has opened
discusions with the Akwa Ibom State Governor on how to collaborate and
do the road that links Aba with Akwa Ibom. The Governor who announced
that fly-over will be built in Aba also flagged-off MCC road.
